Courtney & Alex

Oh happy day, it is finally FALL here in East TN!  Nothing makes my heart more happy then to see the beautiful colors that are about to pop out all over this place.  And a few showed up just in time for Courtney & Alex's incredible wedding at Castleton Farms.  And I have to say, Courtney was one gorgeous bride.  I mean, she's definitely the kind of bride that makes you say, "wow" (hello Jimmy Choos)!  Alex is one lucky guy but I'm pretty sure he knows that from the string of tears that fell from his face as he watched her come down the aisle.  Courtney is a self-proclaimed perfectionist and I so love that about her.  But I'm sure not even Courtney could find a thing wrong with this day and how it all ended up.  Ok, maybe the stink bug landing on her head in the middle of the ceremony wasn't her favorite but I hope they laugh about that for the next 60 years because it was truly funny.  Here are some of my favorite memories that I sincerely hope she cherishes forever...

Sometimes you just need a pep talk from Darla...

Amanda & Matthew

Weddings are sentimentally beautiful for so many reasons.  The joining of families and the thoughts of those that couldn't be there and a lot of love sprinkled in there and it can be so sweet to capture.  Amanda thought about her grandpa a lot on the day of her wedding.  She wore one of his old shirts as she got her hair and make-up done, when she prayed she remembered that he was with her and when she walked down the aisle, she carried a photo of the two of them on her gorgeous boquet.  Her grandpa loved trains so it was only fitting that Amanda & Matthew have their recpetion at The Southern Depot.

But for every tear that day, there was also a beautiful smile that doned Amanda's face as she got to marry the guy she loves.  And while it rained all morning, the sun came out for photos and stayed.  Amanda said on facebook that morning, "Rain or shine I still get to marry Matthew and start our new amazing adventurous life together."  Perfection!

Megan & Brandon

I can't even begin to explain how much I loved this wedding.  Yes, it rained for part of the afternoon and into the ceremony.  And yes, the brides' veil fell out of her hair as she exited with her new husband.  But it was a perfect day nonetheless because Megan just knew the simple truth - "it is what it is".  These two are just gems.  I so enjoyed laughing with them as Brandon made the comment that the rain kind of made it like that one scene in The Notebook and Megan made fun of him (yes, your read that correctly).  The colors and the perfection that is Dara's Garden just made me fall in love.  And those colors were literally hand painted by Melissa Timm Designs because the flowers were AMAZE!!! As if the day couldn't get any better, the rocking reception was brought to life by the one and only Jim Ogle.  I'm so excited to share these pictures...

Hayli & Jonathan

Hayli & Jonathan are not your typical New Yorkers - at least not what I tend to think about New Yorkers.  They are very go with the flow, easy going people ready to sit back, enjoy the day however it pans out.  If things go according to plan, great.  If not, that's fine too.  There are so many things I love about a wedding but I just adore when a couple feels so loved and supported all day by there family and friends and Hayli & Jonathan could not be more loved and supported.  And how could they not be - the way they look at each other is just so endearing.  This was just simply a beautiful day at Crescent Bend.

Katy & Casey - Castleton Farms

Anyone who has ever met Katy & Casey knows that romance is not dead.  They are one of the most romantic couples I've ever met.  Every detail, every expression, every look was so full of love.  It seemed to be bursting everywhere.  They were married at Castleton Farms which is a perfect location for any couple.  The variety they offer is unmatched - a barn, a vineyard, the elegant ceremony locations, the rolling fields.  The sunlight just danced off of it all so beautifully!  I know that Katy & Casey felt so blessed by it all and I'm so thankful they let me capture their day.

Flowers were done by the always amazing Lisa Foster Floral Designs.  I could not get enough of these colors - so beautiful!
